These fairs are information sessions, not interview days. USPS says plainly that no interviews happen on site and that applications are accepted online only through usps.com/careers. Go to get your questions answered by the people who do the hiring, then apply that night.
Applicants must be at least 18, or 16 with a high school diploma, and must pass a drug screening and a background investigation. Two of the four dates, October 16 in Baltimore and October 23 in Glen Burnie, are for automotive positions only. If you want a carrier or mail handler job, pick October 15 or October 29.
USPS Job Fair, Baltimore Post Office — Thursday, October 15
12:00 – 2:00 p.m. | Baltimore Post Office, 900 E. Fayette Street, Baltimore, MD 21233
The only all-positions date inside the city limits, and the shortest window of the four at two hours. The building sits where the Jones Falls Expressway spills onto Fayette Street, a short walk from the Shot Tower Metro Subway station, so it is an easy trip from most of the east and west sides. Come with questions about carrier routes, mail handler shifts and how the online application works.
USPS Automotive Job Fair, Baltimore — Friday, October 16
1:00 – 4:00 p.m. | Baltimore Post Office, 900 E. Fayette Street, Baltimore, MD 21233
Same building, next day, different audience. This session is for automotive positions only, built around the technician role posted at $63,658 a year. If you work on fleet vehicles, light trucks or at a dealership service bay, this is the afternoon to ask what the Postal Service's vehicle maintenance work looks like.
USPS Automotive Job Fair, Glen Burnie — Friday, October 23
12:00 – 3:00 p.m. | Glen Burnie Post Office, 7596 Ritchie Highway, Glen Burnie, MD 21061
A second automotive-only date for mechanics in north Anne Arundel County who would rather not drive into the city. Ritchie Highway puts it within easy reach of Pasadena, Ferndale and Brooklyn Park. Note the overlap: Baltimore's Holiday Season Career Fair in Cherry Hill runs the same morning, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Different event, different crowd, so pick the one that fits your trade.
USPS Job Fair, Columbia — Thursday, October 29
11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. | Columbia Post Office, 6801 Oak Hall Lane, Columbia, MD 21045
The last date of the run and the second all-positions session, aimed at Howard County job seekers and anyone along the Route 29 corridor. It is the best fit if you missed October 15 or if a midday trip downtown does not work around your current shift.
🔎 How to Pick the Right One
